The Routemaster bus - star of 'Summer Holiday' and hundreds of London-based movies from the 50's and 60's - was taken out of service on 7th December 2005.

When the red Routemaster London bus ran its last journey in December 2005, LetuknowFilms were there to record the event for this moving documentary short.

The film was produced for the 'Farewell Routemaster Challenge' which resulted in ten short films all featuring the Routemaster. The five minute movies were screened in a special programme at Brixton Ritzy Picturehouse cinema in January 2006.

One Colour Red and eight other shorts featuring the Routemaster Bus have now been released on DVD.
